Takahata Winery is located at northern region of Japan (Yamagata Prefecture) where called a heavenly beautiful place of flowers and fruits. The height of this place is 800 feet high and very cool area with the wind from Northern Japanese Alpines. The temperature is hot in daytime and cold in nighttime. This makes a perfect environment of growing of grapes. Takahata Winery was established by South Kyushu Coca Cola Bottling Co.with the concept of that excellent wine is made with excellent grapes.

高畠ワイナリーは、日本の北に位置する山形県の南部にある町で、古くから「山々に囲まれ、自然に恵まれた住みよいところ」を意味する「まほろばの里」と呼ばれています。標高２７０メートルに位置し、山から吹き降ろす風もあり気候的に涼しい地区で、昼夜の温度差が著しい自然に恵まれ、ぶどうの栽培に最適な環境にあります。
1990年に南九州コカコーラーボトリング（株）による出資にて設立されたワイナリーです。品質の良いワインは葡萄からという強い理念を持ち、風土の個性を反映したワイン造りを行っています。

Taste & Flavor:	The harmony of sweetness and brilliant acidity makes it the perfect Chardonnay with citrus fragrance and white flower essence. It is elegant and balanced dry as for Chardonnay. Oak barrel is not used but stainless steel barrel : barrel fermentation is not applied to keep it elegant and refreshing. 糖分と酸のバランスがとれた葡萄が作られる産地で、柑橘系の香り、白い花の香りにも似た、シャルドネ本来の華やかな香りを持っています。力強い余韻の中にも爽やかさを感じ、またしっかりとした酸味が特徴なドライタイプのワインです。（オーク樽を使用せず、ステンレスタンクのみで醸造)
