The US Corporation, Maruto Sea Vegetables, Inc. was established in 1987, Los Angeles,
California. In 1992 the New York branch Maruto Noriten was established followed by Richmond,
Canada and San Paulo, Brazil branch offices (each independently corporated).

Mission Statement: To provide highest quality Sushi Nori (roasted seaweed), a natural form of
Sea Vegetable with strict inventory and quality control. Many varieties of Sushi Nori imported
directly from Japan and China are available to cater to your special needs. Due to increasing
demands of quality Seaweed at a competitive price, a joint venture was established in China to
ensure quality and available at a lower price range. We strongly believe that the best product and
value is available here at Maruto Sea Vegetables, Inc.

In 1991, specially selected Ji-Sake (sake of quality brewed by smaller breweries not widely
distributed, even in Japan) from komedokoro (home of highest quality of rice) breweries were
added to our product selection. These Ji-Sake, primarily from Yamagada prefecture of Japan of
highest quality are distributed only by MARUTO Group through-out the United States, Canada,
and Brazil.
